Lead Basketball Coaches - Aussie Hoops and Junior Domestic Skills Development

 

As an Aussie Hoops and Junior Domestic Skills Development Basketball Coach, you will play a pivotal role in helping young players develop their basketball skills and grow a love for the game. 

 

Responsibilities will include

• Develop and implement engaging training sessions

• Building positive, supportive relationships with participants

• Effectively communicating with players and parents

• Teaching the fundamentals of basketball

• Lead and collaborate with fellow coaches, providing guidance, support, and ongoing development.

• Ensure all training sessions run smoothly and efficiently, from setting up equipment to managing participant engagement and attendance.

• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all participants.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in basketball coaching or coordination, preferably with junior athletes.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Understanding of basketball skills and drills suitable for beginner-level players.

• Enthusiasm, patience, and a passion for helping young players enjoy the sport.

• Ability to work effectively with other coaches

• Working with Children Check (mandatory)​​
